Peter Cresswell, Ph.D., serves as the Eugene Higgins Professor of Immunobiology at Yale University School of Medicine and as an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Before assuming his position at Yale, Dr. Cresswell served as chief of the Division of Immunology at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Cresswell serves as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at NKT Therapeutics, Inc., Immunotope, Inc., and Cancer Research Institute. He is a fellow of the Royal Society and a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Cresswell received his B.S. in Chemistry, his M.S. in Microbiology from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Immunology from London University. His postdoctoral training was completed at Harvard University with Jack Strominger.
