Robert C. Galvin
Bob Galvin is the principal in Galvin Consulting, a firm that supports private equity in their review and integration of acquisition candidates. He is an executive with over 30 years of experience in restructuring companies and then supporting their expansion initiatives.
Most recently, he served as chief executive officer of Elie Tahari, a luxury fashion label. Prior to his tenure there, he was president for five years at the Camuto Group, a global women’s fashion footwear and apparel company, overseeing the relaunch of Vince Camuto as well as looking after Tory Burch, BCBG Max Azria, Sanctuary Clothing, Jessica Simpson, and Lucky Brand. Previously, Bob was chief operating officer and managing director of sportswear brand Fila, owned by Cerberus Capital. Prior to that, he was executive vice president and CFO of the Nine West Group and led the sale of the company to Jones Apparel Group. From 1981 to 1995, he worked at Deloitte & Touche, where he co-founded the Connecticut Retail and Distribution Practice and served as a partner from 1993. Mr. Galvin is a member of the board of Cherokee, Inc.
He holds a B.A. in Accounting from Fairfield University and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University, Stern School.
