Community organizations and individuals who wish to make a difference in the fight against cancer often hold fundraising events on our behalf. These events take place all across the United States, and have included formal dinner and dance parties, community sports tournaments, cross country bike rides, fashion shows, gallery openings, auctions, walk-a-thons, and many others. We are always impressed by the creativity and ingenuity displayed by these motivated organizers. Over the years, these fundraisers have generated millions of dollars in additional donations — money we have directed to promising medical researchers working to discover immunological therapies for cancer.

If you are interested in planning a fundraiser for us — personally, or on behalf of your company or other organization — let us know by emailing us. In your email, we ask that you:

• Share with us your reason for hosting or organizing a fundraiser to benefit the Cancer Research Institute. For example, some people raise money for CRI because they have recently lost a loved one to cancer, others wish to honor a friend's or colleague's victory over cancer.
• Describe the type of event you plan to host, such as an auction, tournament, dance, etc. If you are proposing a corporate event, please describe the nature of your business or organization.
• Tell us the proposed date and location of the event.
• Let us know how you plan to advertise the event, whom you intend to invite, and how many attendees you expect.
• Explain how the contributions will be accounted for, including the percentage that will be given to CRI.
• Provide your contact information, including telephone, mailing address and email, so that we can get in touch with you.

We are happy to provide you with CRI's informational brochures and other promotional materials that you may wish to distribute at your event. If you wish to use our logo on any advertisement or announcement about the event, please let us know about it. We are able to provide this to you for conditional use.
