On Sunday, April 25, 2010, 230 guests gathered for the 28th Annual Through the Kitchen party at the Four Seasons Restaurant. Guests who joined us at this year’s party had an opportunity to celebrate “Things That Make New York Great” – from art to music, from culture to transportation, from our celebrities to centers of learning. Guests including NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and former NY Governor George Pataki walked “Through the Kitchen” of The Four Seasons restaurant, dining on an incredible gourmet spread of multicultural delights topped by an outrageously sweet dessert buffet to satisfy any sweet tooth. The event raised $536,000 for CRI’s Irvington Fellowship Program. A very special thanks to CRI trustee Lauren Veronis, who works behind the scenes to ensure the party’s success, and event chairs: Perri Peltz and Eric Ruttenberg, Christine and John Fitzgibbons, Lee and Jamie Niven, and Margaret and Andrew Paul.
