Nearly 350 immunologists and tumor immunologists met October 6-8, 2010 at Millennium Conference Center in New York City to address the critical and diverse roles CD4 T cells play in controlling the immune response. The 18th Annual International Cancer Immunotherapy Symposium, “Multiple Functions of CD4 T Cells in Autoimmunity, Infectious Disease, and Cancer,” featured twenty-two plenary lectures from experts in the field and a poster session which included presentations by more than 140 scientists.
