Celebrate Your Loved Ones This Valentine’s Day

February 14, 2014 | Emily Livingstone

Valentine’s Day reminds us to appreciate the important partnerships in our lives. Parents, children, friends, and significant others—these are the connections that ultimately support and challenge us as we grow.

Roses and chocolates are the traditional gifts today, but if you’re looking for something more meaningful, I hope you’ll consider making a donation to the Cancer Research Institute. Instead of candy, a gift in honor of your friend as she battles breast cancer shows your support and admiration. Remember your father’s brave fight against prostate cancer with a memorial gift. Donate in lieu of a present or just because; every donation supports only the most cutting edge research to develop immunotherapies to conquer all cancers.

Make your donation online and we’ll send out a quick note letting your person know you were thinking of them. We’ll also forward your support to our scientists who are saving lives and ensuring the possibility of future Valentine’s days with those you love. One gift, twice the impact. Together, we can conquer cancer and introduce a little more love in the world. Happy Valentine’s
