March 11, 2014 | Michelle Liew

2012 was another year of progress and innovation at the Cancer Research Institute. It was also a time of great transition. New scientific leaders took the helm and powerful new partnerships formed.

We at CRI have been talking about the promise of cancer immunotherapy for 60 years. Now many others are touting its potential to transform cancer treatment. In our 2012 report, we share what others are saying about cancer immunotherapy in their own words.

The report also includes program highlights from 2012, our audited financial statements, major donor listings, a full list of currently supported research projects.

Download your copy of the 2012 Annual Report. And please let us know what you think about it in the comments below.

If you'd like to receive a hard copy of the report, please email us at info@cancerresearch.org. Supplies are limited.

The Cancer Research Institute celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2013—and it was quite the year to celebrate! Since 1953, we've been the only nonprofit dedicated to funding critical research leading to revolutionary therapies that harness the immune system's power to destroy all types of cancer cells. Which is why we couldn't be more proud that cancer immunotherapy was recognized as the 2013 Breakthrough of the Year.

The recent flurry of news reports of patients helped by cancer immunotherapy demonstrates the rapid progress our scientists are making. From new discoveries in basic laboratory research to new therapeutic developments in the clinic, none of this would be possible without the generous support of our donors.

The report includes program and event highlights from 2013, our audited financial statements, major donor listings, and a full list of currently supported research projects.
