Members Hao Wu, PhD Boston Children's Hospital & Harvard Medical School Boston, MA Dr. Hao Wu is the Asa and Patricia Springer Professor in the Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology and Department of Pediatrics at the Harvard Medical School, as well as a senior investigator in the Program in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Wu is known for characterizing how macromolecular complexes―known as signalosomes―help amplify signals from immune cell receptors throughout the rest of the cell. For her contributions, she has been elected to the National Academy of Sciences. Her current work employs structural biology techniques and seeks to determine how the transmission of those immune signals leads to innate immune responses. In addition to being a member of CRI’s Scientific Advisory Council.
