How it works
- First, request an entry to your preferred marathon event. If the event is full, you will be directed to a waitlist. All spots are on a first come first serve basis.
- Once your application is accepted, you will receive an email notification. At this point, you will officially be a part of Team CRI! Here is where you will receive instructions on fundraising.
- Please do not create a fundraising page until your spot has been confirmed.
- You will have step-by-step communication from CRI’s community fundraising team throughout your journey up until race day. We will be with you every step of the way!

What if I don’t reach my fundraising minimum?
If you do not reach your fundraising minimum by the deadline, CRI will charge the balance to the credit card indicated on your registration form.
What if I cannot participate after I register?
Every team member who officially registers and obtains an entry through Team CRI is committed to reaching their fundraising minimum by the deadline regardless of any situations that may arise. These entries are vital fundraising opportunities for the Cancer Research Institute, which is why we ask everyone to commit to their fundraising goal when we assign the race entry to their name.
