Immunotherapy for Gynecologic Cancers On June 4, 2013, Kunle Odunsi, MD, PhD, a specialist in immunotherapy for gynecologic cancers at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, discussed current immunotherapy treatment options for women with gynecologic cancers, and how close we are to making these treatments available to more patients, as part of the Cancer Research Institute's Breakthrough in Cancer Immunotherapy Webinar Series. Dr. Odunsi is chair of the Department of Gynecologic Oncology, and is a professor of oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY. He is also the M. Steven Piver Endowed Professor of Gynecologic Oncology at Roswell Park, and professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Buffalo. Dr. Odunsi also is the co-leader of the Tumor Immunology and Immunotherapy CCSG Program, and director of the Center for Immunotherapy at Roswell Park. Dr. Odunsi is a member of CRI/Ludwig Cancer Vaccine Collaborative, a coordinated global network of clinical investigators with expertise in immunotherapy focused on optimizing the benefit patients can receive from immune-based cancer treatments.
